The chamber wants to thank all the businesses and individuals who have supported the chamber with their membership. We have been able to keep our membership dues at $35.00 for over twenty years and have not even thought about increasing our dues.
With about 3/4 of the newsletters going out by e-mail we are saving about $6.00 a year PER member over the cost of mailing them out. Thank You for forwarding your e-mail addresses to us.
The Columbus Grove Area Chamber of Commerce
The Columbus Grove Area Chamber of Commerce works to promote and publicize Columbus Grove as a great place to live and shop.
In 2009, the Chamber is pleased to announce that a local seamtress is presenting sewing up a new outfit for Santa Claus. Dr. Austin reports that Santa's presnt suit was getting thin enough that he could read through it.
We recently donated $500.00 to the Village of Columbus Grove for Christmas Decoration replacement, $500.00 to The Lord's Panty Food Kitchen and $130.00 to the Columbus Grove High School Business Leadership class for their community service project.
The Chamber is proud to sponsor events that bring the community together and promote growth such as The Christmas Home Tourand Contest, the Outdoor Christmas Decoration Contest, The Columbus Grove Community Scholarship Fund which was initially funded and started by Dick Rimer, the Halloween Parade and Costume Contest, Christmas in the Park Santa Photos and GroveFest.
Membership is $35.00 a year for either a business or individual.
